The only possible use, in that case, would be to use that bonus to cancel a droid customization bonus on an item with a reallyuseful bonus of another type, I think.

Droid Customization is useless for a Master as he is capped.
You might find some strange novice though

I've always wondered, can non DE's use these tapes, and get more colors when the customize their own droids??

I doubt it. Customization tools already give access to the same color palette available to a Master DE. The only use for these tapes would be fora less-than-master DE to have more colors available for chassis and droid deeds.

I've never tried to use a customization tool as a non-DE, I just assumed (apparently incorrectly) that the tools gave the same palette. Thanks, TK ![]()
