It is probably me being blind and new to the DE profession but I seem to having difficulties understanding the difference between the Adv R2 and the Adv R3 droids. From the excellent Droids 101 I understand it ... or think I understand that the Adv R3 model can hold more modules than the Adv R2, but from the actual crafting window, this does not appear to be accurate!?
WhatI am looking to is to make a droid (which I thought was the Adv R3 model) with item storage, data storage, medical crafting, maintenance and some armor / combat.
Help! lol
Which droid should I focus on making?

The Advanced R3 will hold 2 Combat-Capable Socket Modules for a total of 6 modules. The Advanced R2 will hold one CCSM and 2 modules for a total of 5. With the Adv. R3 you should be able to put in the service modules and 2 combat modules. With the Adv. R2, you'd only be able to use one combat module.

Gnome, I know what your saying, but I don't think he will.
You meant to say CLUSTERS, not modules.
An R3 can hold 2 COmbat Clusters, they each hold 3 modules = 6 modules.
An R2 can hold 1 cluster and 2 modules (not in clusters,) = 5 modules.
