So now that JTL has been out for a while, how do you droid engineers like it?

I love it. Sevaral big reasons:

-I have neglible combat capabilities as a DE, but now I can launch intospacein some cool spaceships andcleanup with the best of them!

- I don't have to wait for spaceships anymore to get to the various planets where my harvesters are

- New market for droids and DE made items

Your thoughts?

JTL been berry, berry good to me.

I loved it. It was much better than Cats. I want to see it again and again.

I'm just happy DE's got some lovin' with new things to sell. Flying around shooting things proves to be a good distraction from the droid shop for me as well. I can finally go hunting with my guildies.

I did pretty well on JTL sales until about 2 weeks to ago or so. Then, it just seemed to drop off like a rock.

I have yet to purchase JTL, however.

Now that surprises me, coming from a former correspondent. You're not into space?

BAH!

From the DE profession perspective JTL blow goats.

FC's that are huge lumps of metal, with no guts inside them.. pathetic

Chips: started out great, but have been nerfed.. i'm lucky to sell 1 a day. (1800/chip)

Astromechs: used in only 3 ships?? c'moN! give me a break! so much potential for them, but just thrown away.

not really DE related, but artisan related, the All purpose repair ships. why in the galaxy would they put them on the starship crafting tool, when EVERYTHING an artisan can make is on the W/D/G tool... poor implementation and thinking here. Oh, and broken experimentation on them? I only get 1 point.

In terms of the actual space combat, and space missions, I do enjoy JTL a lot. And of course I love the hopping between planets. For someone like me that's always on the move, it rocks.

From a Player perspective JTL rocks, space is fun and not needing to wait for ships is worth the $20 alone. TK you should grab it, it's a ton better then Beta was. Going from Dant to Loc in one click is great.

From a DE perspective JTL was terrible. I guess it would be ok if you were used to not selling anything, but if you had decent ground sales, JTL sales were nothing. Having to sell 5 Droids or FC's to equal one Harvestor or Bomb droid sucks.

JTL has MASSIVE potential for DE's, it was just poorly implemented from a crafting point of view.

what he said, potential is there but between lack of use of the astro droid and the chip nerf i only got jtl sales the first month really.

I suppose that working the alpha and all the betas got me into that situation where I knew what I was going to get. That'd I'd sorta seen and doneit there so getting the release wasn't imperative.

Then....I just never got around to it.

I may quit SWG, (not going to EQ2 or WOW) Because Ive seen and done all there is to do in SWG with the exception of mindlessly grinding for hours. Then againI made a char on bria, not seeing the same people over and over and people actually IN the cantina is a breath of fresh air.
