Thread: Update Vehicle Customization time reduced

Anyone else notice that the notes for Publish 11.5 say that the customization time on vehicles has been reduced? Does anyone know by how much? What about droidcustomization kits?

Why don't they just make it permanent? No one makes money on customization kits and its really annoying to keep up with a paint jpb every 200 calls. I searched all overthe galaxy for a vehicle customization kit. Didn't find one.

I have has yet failed to find anyone who likes that color decays on droids and vehicles. I enjoy changing it every so often but I have never seen any benefit in the decay. Sure it is suppose to increase need of them, but thats stupid. Need should come from desire on something like a paint kit. It is a luxury, not a way to generate income.

I think 200 calls is just right; 2000 is way, way over kill.
How many people pull their vehicles 200 times a day? A week? A month? How much of a bother really is it? And it's not like it's required - it's personal choice. No one is ever prevented from using their vehicle if it isn't the color they want.
As to vehicle kits, they are all over the bazaar on my server. /shrug. I don't buy them much anymore - some idiot put a crate of 30 of them on the bazaar for 1000cr a while back and a I bought them, and just keep them the crate in my backpack with all my other tools/kits.
I just wish they'd decide though - since we are not allowed to change the names or labels on items post-creation, it really blows when we try to give the customer more information (i.e. how many uses) on the object when they keep messing with it.
2000 calls, on droids or vehicles, is just silly - you might as well just add a "color" radial option that needs no tool whatsoever. 200 makes it a regular use, regular choice - you either color, or you don't. Unfortunately, right now the sales we got from people who like color were totally gutted when it went to 2000. It didn't entice non-colorers to begin coloring, it just made the color-people have to buy less from us.
