I know trade forums probably better spot for this, but no one is answering!!! Hehe, so figured I'd go to the second best place.

Well it really is server dependant, some may be more some may be less.

The first thing to remember is that "most" De's don't have a lot of money, so don't expect to get nearly as much as you would from AS or WS. The ones that do have a lot of money probably have a suit.

However, as DE tapes go, that one is AWESOME. +20 in one piece is pretty nice.

I would expect you could get "maybe" 5 million for it if it was on Scylla. Which isn't terrible, but may not be as much as you may expect.

I would tend to agree here. I've got a wookiee sage hat with +25 exp and +25 assembly that I proudly display in my shop...and rarely ever put on for crafting.

I dunno

I honestly think that having +21 assembly as I do has really cuts down on the fails in general, not just critical fails, and I think it's worth the cash.. but then I hand craft a lot of droids.

Worthless to most DE's, except as a collector/show piece.

Most DE's don't need it. As a master, how often do you fail assembly?

The only type of DE this could benefit is one that cannot afford to loose items to crit fails; conversely, if you are worried about the cost of critical fails, you likely couldn't afford such a CA anyway.

Although I'm sure someone would buy it, you will have a hard time finding a DE that a) has that much money, b) doesn't know what the assembly skill is, and c) thinks it will somehow benefit them.

I had this one guy try to sell me one a few months ago, and I explained to him that I made droids in factories and wasn't interested. Then he goes into this huge rant about what a crappy DE I must be if I don't know any better, LOL. "Don't you crit fail???!!" he said, to which I replied, "No," as I can't remember the last time I did, and when I do it's not a big deal. It would take a LONG time for a CA like that to even begin to benefit me financially - and I'm filthy rich to begin with, so affording a few mill for one is nothing.

You'll find the same in most professions. The only one assembly ever was very popular in was Architect, but now since their components don't poof when they fail they don't even care. Most masters of any crafting profession simply don't need them, and while they may benefit up'n'comers, they can't afford them anyway.

Wow, +25 DE XP and +25 Assembly? Where in heck did you get that???

That's one valuable hat.

Oh, I'm sure it does if you do a lot of handcrafting, especially if you craft EVERYTHING by hand (components, etc.).

For a lot of DE's, though, the "value" isn't there for them to spend a huge amount of money on this. As I've thought about it, for a +20 I might actually buy one just for the heck of it (I'd pay a million or two for it), since you wouldn't need any other CA's (I believe Assembly is limited at +20 actual effectiveness like experimentation is - but of course, we don't know for sure).

I'd upgrade my "Worthless to most DE's" to "not a good value for MOST DE's".

It was assembled with a +25 Droid Assembly tape and a +25 Droid Experimentation tape. Ultimate DE Wookiee Hat

I would have to say a +20 Droid Assembly tape would go for 5-10 million on sunrunner, maybe a little more. There's a few DE's out here with cash, probably because their second profession is shipwright, or chef

I personally wouldn't pay that much for it...5 million would buy a LOT of resources, than what I would ever lose to critical failures. That 5 million would go even further in my harvestors.

A few million, start an auction on it...see what you get. Can always just set a sale price for what you want.
