Where to begin... oh well.. will start with...
1) Why are Rebellion ships (X/W and Y/W in particular) REQUIRED to use a starport? After all... we all know that these two chassis types are equipped with landing struts for touchdown and liftoff on frontier worlds. By extension, why do Smggler Alliance chassis suffer the same constraint? Most of the SA folks (supposedly) spend a large portion of their operational lives living in the shadow of Civilization. Seems to me that the SA ships shouldnt "need" starport services on amandatory basis.
Why not make it possible for ship-owners to "ground" their ships at, or near, their homes... Perhaps permit the Architects to craft a limited-duty personal landing pad. Then also require the use of a fully charged Power Droid for engine spoolup?

The JTLS Board, or the Core Systems seems to be more appropriate for something like this.
