Thread: holo, A little Macro help?
I love the new practice command ( I like the way the developers seem to think that the mouse droid is a sellable item to all players,as seemingly indicated by thier snideness in the update screen, that it is in fact the sellers fault...)
I did have a question though about the new practice mode.
Previously, using /selectcraftingschematic, /nextcraftingstange, and /createprototype commands I could create a helpful macro that greatly reduced my carpal tunnel problems. However, the /createprototype command is not compatible with the practice mode. Even if It is turned on, I still make a final product. With the patch, was a command line created that would be like /craftpractice or something similar ( that isnt it ) ? I checked the list with the // command, but the suckerse so long I cant scroll back beyond "E".
For those of you crafters out there wondering what the heck m talking about go to
www.swgcraft.com and read the forums on macros. Most helpful for the carpal tunnel sufferers out there ( ie any artisan)

LOL> Actually, I have been selling two MSE droids on average every day. (Medical module) At about 550 credits. Not sure if its over priced or underpriced but they do sell somewhat. LOL. Not nearly as much as I would like since it takes more time to sell em then to produce them.
Maybe the command was put in but rather then /createpracticesession its /practiceprototype. *shrug.
You are right. I too have sold a few mouse droids with med modules. Hopefully with the fixes to the modules next week there will be a bigger market ( at elast for mouse droids... why buy a r# droid when I mouse is cheaper and holds the same modules?)
Im just irked, and I try not to take it out on the developers when management makes most decisions
AS to my macros.. assuming its not an exploit ( its in the game with help files???? shouldnt be an exploit...)
with a crafting staion open, the command is
/selectdraftschematic 61 <-- this is a mouse droid for me, but it varies for each person, depending on how many schematics you ahve from various professions. Specifically, pick a random number and then count forward on your datapad list, skipping items that the weapon/droid crafting tool cant make.
manually click your resources ( if you remap a scroll mouse so the wheel is dbl click rather than scroll this is a LOT faster )
then the next macro is (which completes the item and deposits in hopper without another click from you)
/nextcraftingstage <-- moves screen forward to materials quality display
/nextcraftingstage <-- Moves screen to naming page with image.
/createprototype <-- selects the prototype option to create an object
/createprototype <-- closes the crafting station and begins construction. This should be /stopcrafting session, but that command doesnt seem to work properly.
Note! This does not work near a crafting station with the experiment option, nor does it work for items that can be customized ( colors and such)

Other even faster macros exist for POWER grinding that are even faster than this can be found on swgcraft.com, but some of them are boarderline exploits so be careful. They were written by programmers to maximize their macroing potential in game.
Have fun!

Atually on second thought, It probably wasnt the developers that wrote that comment in the login screen.
It was probably the marketing department. Goodness knows that they can sell a broken product without breaking a sweat.
Totokazza, Still looking for a /createpracticesession command
I accently forgot to tick the practice box on a grinding session once so i've got a couple of useless mse droids and I tamed all of em and taught them some dodgy commands and then transferred them to random people in town.... lol. They just magically got a droid in their datapad. Heh.
