Big market for master artisan components out there, I know any self-respecting DE is a MA too. The class can and has only gotten better, so I thank people like Zina who have gone on to other areas of interest and allowed me to suck up the market. Gimme the green!

Lol, so you feel nobody should be complaining about DE because you're able to make sellables with MA? What does a 'Big market for master artisan components' have ANYTHING to do with whether or not DE needs fixing?

Sounds to me like you're a greedy MA dressed up like a DE.

Heres my take as a master DE and WS. I can make upwards of 200k a day selling weapons if I choose, using the same amount of resources that I would need to make 5 probots. Not only that, the good weapons only use 2items besides other resources, Blaster Power handlers, and Barrels (rifle or pistol so ok 3). All of which are easy to make in bulk in a factory, in fact i have a few hundred of each sitting around the shop for when i get orders.

Now as to DE, if I have over 20 Adv brains or Arm Package sets, its a miracle. Or how about trying to have a few spare micro sensor suites? 1st you have to make the control units in factory, then GPs then the optional part if you want. Either way, you use alot more and different resources than any other profession save architects (which makes sense).

But unlike architects and weaponsmiths, our final prdouct is not worth near the markup that they can recieve for their products. At best our products are novelty items. Most of our sales are to newbies who dont have a clue that droids are worthless, or to mid level crafters who dont have the cash for a house and personal crafting station yet.

So yes, its possible to make money as a droid engineer, but compared to EVERY other crafter, we make less than 1/2 of what they do for using the same amount of resouces.
