I typically leave my Protocol Droid out on my front door step, as an advertising gimmick. People see the droid when theycome by, get exciting about seeing C3PO, and then buy a droid, (well, that's the idea ). However, what WAS happening was that the droid was automatically stored every time I took a shuttle trip. However, last night, I came back to find that my droid was still there! They must have changed auto-store in some way, and I'm grateful. It's not right that a droid, assigned to a mission, (even if the mission is just to stand), is auto-stored because you take a trip 1.5KM away from the droid.

I had the same thing happen to me LOL, I was like wow these c3pos are starting to become more popular, then I realized that it was mine. I guess he didnt have a ticket for the shuttle, he couldnt have been to upset because he didnt say anything, not that he ever does.

I had mine out last night for advertising and logged out without storing. To my suprise when I logged back in C3PO was still patrolling the bank along his assigned waypoints! When this first happened I was almost sure I would have lost control of the droid since I had been logged out for nearly 2 hours, but luckily I could still Store it and remained in control!

I have been religiously storing my droids before shuttling or logging, ever since I heard the first tales of droids going feral.

Now I've got some things I need to try...

Taking a well-deserved vacation from his successful Droid Engineering business, Master Rho can be found puttering around the galaxy.
