I had read it on the board earlier, and got so far in my testing as to put the droid on patrol, and log out to character selection. When I re-entered Kauri, my probot was still out there, running around my local neighborhood.

I've asked some of my friends (informal PA) to look for him when they log in, I'll be away for a while.

If anyone HERE feels like checking, on Kauri, Corellia, south of Coronet around -100, -5700 (and North from there) there's a probot running around from shop to shop named 'PowerupsByRho'.

I think they hang around, maybe only as long as there's players around though? I put my BLL on patrol in a cantina last night, then logged on another character. A couple hours later a friend messaged me to tell me the BLL was still patrolling in the cantina, hehe. A few hours later when I logged back on my other character the BLL was still going strong.

Thats funny. Does that mean droids don't have to be recharged when on patrol?

I did this with my Protocol droid last night and it did hang around. I know this because while I was logged out I received numerous emails from people wanting to know how much C3PO was, and a guild member telling me that I forgot my droid at the bank

Nice new advertising scheme. Might just need to make the protocal run around Coronot.

W00t! I'll have to try this tonight. I hope this is as intended and not a bug that will be squashed post-haste. That tends to be the only work that is ever done on droids.
