For thos that are not aware (I really can't see how you couldn't be aware..) I started a topic on the main discussion forum on saturday with the title "Developers, please find the time to make an official apology to Droid Engineers". I put forward how I personaly felt, and how I believed the rest of you felt, in a rather long thread that basicaly asked for an apology from the developers and acknowledgement of our broken profession.. and that we exist! I aslo asked that YOU posted in it to show your own support for this broken profession.

You all did just that. The thread grew to a huge number and dispite a few bad words from a few bad souls was generaly a pretty well written piece! Jeasa felt the need to post several times in it.. none of which was in reply to a flame or rant (woooh) and I solely believe it was that one thread that forced Blair to "acknowledge" the current crafting bug on our boards.

And finaly, after 3 days of you guys posting to it... Q-3PO answered and gave an official apology. It may not be much, but we are the ONLY profession any of the developers have personaly apologised too, that has got to count for something, right?

So give yourselves a big pat on the back. Not only did we get dev attention in style, but we got it twice in two days. Thats more than this profession has gotten in three months.

Thank you all for supporting my thread, and thanks for helping me get SOME kind of response out of them, no matter how small!!

Now lets hope that they actually do something.

Well, either way I am going to bed happy knowing (or atleast 99.9% knowing) that I will finaly be able to call my R2 unit "Arwyn", my best (and only) friend, out of my datapad when I get home from work tomorrow.

Hehe, I appreciate the apology and the efforts of the Dev team. However, since I'm not a kool-aid drinker, I'll keep this rule in mind:

WR#5 Mind what people do, not only what they say for deeds betray a lie.


I'm sure these folks aren't out to intentionally bugger us, but I'm not about to let my guard down. A paying customer can't afford to be complacent.

You will find probs with folks you keep pushig this issue on giving up on Droidka. I mean you post a good post. Then attack people for wanting a deent combat droid....

That is two faced crap and you just lost decent support from someone like me in the future.

I think youre over reacting Pphantom - DE's need to be unified to get fixed ASAP, the 'Droidika crowd' breaks this unity.

Its pretty obvious from the recent Droid Customisation Tool that the devs cant add new content bug free, thus we are better off getting our current content fixed before we get anything new (otherwise you'd just be back here complaining about nerfed/broken Droidika and how far would that have got you?)

Well by doing this type of stuff to folks that actually want something decent in this game. Like promised by the devs. You will devide us again.

I mean to not even make a Decent droid as a master DE is the point. To not even have a Schematic upgrade for anytype of combat droid at masterlevel is a kick in the Nuts. This is not good. I am not trying to split anything friend. I am stating the lack of reward or Imagination on the DEV's part. What good is a Adv Binary Load lifter? Or an Advanced Protocal? I want something that is in in leage with a Masters Ability. Not walking Trashcans.

Even if we had a Schematic that would be better then having nothing at all that is worth anything at master level. So what if they are buged lol. Tell us something that would not be buged when it came out. Or over powered in the CH's opinion. Or the usual my droid battery does not last to long. Or why can't I harvest Milk nand eggs post. See what I mean? I Am not unified with Vamp atm. I am pist at the fact he posted such a post in the first place. Telling the DE's to stop posting on it is giving up. Then having to start asking again in 3 to 6 months after this other stuff is fixed. Well not me. DEV's get no sleep while I am around. I Would hope you would see that anyone trying to halt imagination and create something worthwhile for us is only hurting our profession.

Since the launch of this game your profession has be broken, then they borke it a little more by nerfing the probot. You have posted 1000's of requests and made 1000's of recommendatios to fix the DE progession and to no avail. The only respone you have gotten is... We know DE's need a little Love and and Apology. No fault of your own, but you truley are one of the most worhtless, unneeded professions in the game. Players all feel sorry for you and mainly buy DE products due to the sympathy. It begs to question though, what type of personality would stay in a situation like that. Is it a codition that some enjoy?
