Thread: Bomb droids....I can get hit if next to them right... but what is the range of the blast?

Just as stated would like to use a fully laoded R-3 around 57 det. power



What would be the range of the blast, so I could be far enough away not to get damaged.

Only targetables that you can damage are hit by the blast. The blast won't effect you one bit.


The blast radius is around 7 - 10 meters at maximum, if I recall correctly.

I did some pretty extensive testing, and found that I could hurt people out to 12 meters. However the people who were further away took a lot less damage.


The distance may very well be 10 meters as Drashk said though, it's very hard to judge things like that due to clients and servers having different locations for things. For example, I run 2 computers and mulitple accounts. On one computer, I will leave a toon on the cantina steps, but on the other, I will see them on the ground. It's actually amazing the amount of error sometimes.
