Thread: Do you have to be a doctor to use medical droids

Doctors no longer use medical droids post-CU. They are strictly for the Medic and Combat Medic classes. And yes, you must be one of the two to use a medical droid. The exception is stimpack dispensers. Anyone can use them, but the stims must be loaded into the droid by a doctor (this might be different post-CU, I don't know).
Thats not entirely true Rasal.
Medical Droids aren't the standard that they once were for Doctors, however they do offer many benefits still.
The following is the benefit that a Medical Module will offer Bacta Shot.
Actually you are both right.
Rasal is thinking of Doc in the manner of people at home buffing. Drashk is thinking of terms of Docs in the field fighting. Basically anybody who uses an actualy healing skill (not a stim,) will find a med droid usefull.
