Thread: Droid Engineer on Chilastra?
Thanks man. The crafting for me is more a nice to have for emergencies so I will go by the vendor tonight for one that is already on there.
You know, you DE's should get a much betterdeal of thingsthan you do. Having brought a battle droid a little while back and now buying a med droid I'm finding more and more uses for them. I have a friend BH and he is always raving about you guys, now I know where he is coming from.
I'm also a retiring CH (need the skill points for doc) and often get asked by non-CH's about non-CH pets. Recently I have been telling people to find a DE instead as they get a better deal. My 1600+ HAM, 40% resists 600 combat R3 is a real little gem, especially with his ranged attack.
Respect.

I always have my MedMax6 R2 Advanced looking for homes. (110 med rating, level item/data storage, food/chem station, and droid repair module) They're for sale on my vendor that's in the Clear Water Mall... that PA hall just NW of my house at the WP below, in the basement.

i can't get more than 2 modules into an r2 advanced - how do you do yours?
Well, you need a combat cluster (holds three modules) and then two modules in the regular module slots. You need to use a Combat-Capable Socket Cluster to hold three modules, and then use that cluster module in the final droid.

can you put normal modules into a combat cluster then? or do the general clusters work in astromechs now?
Yes. the "combat cluster" I use in my R2s has the level 6 data, item, and medical modules in it.
why didn't they just call it a module cluster then? Notthati'mcomplainingactuallyi'mreallyhappywiththechangespleasedon'ttakethemaway
Boe, thanks man I picked one up last night. I gave my guild quite a fright when I told them about my new med droid. I think they expected a small R2 or R3 but when I pulled outmy BLL they were impressed (well up to the point where they said it looks a bit like an AT-ST and wanted to shoot it).
Thanks again, one happy customer here.
As a small aside, does anyone know how to turn a droid back into deed form so I could leave it in my house?
