Hello Im a Master Artisan and I am thinking about going DE....I was just wondering a few things.....
first off..... I have always wanted to do DE, but I also need to make a crafter to keep some kind of an income....now I have noticed alot of you (like me) are also master artisans....so do you Master Artisan/Master DE make a decent living? And what do you concentrate filling your vendors with?
second.... can anyone tell me or give me a link to a price list for both DE and Artisan items, just to get an idea of where to start with my wares
and third.... can anyone tell me or give me a link to a resource list of all resources needed for DE?
Thanks in advance for any help...

Dear Kobie,
I think it may be a little too early for most of the engineers
Anyways, I have been a master droid engineer for a very long time and have made quite a nice living from it. I have a pricelist on my website (http://www.LogicPod.com) and there are other pricelists all over the boards here. The best place to see all the schematics/resources for a Droid Engineer is at Stratics (http://swg.stratics.com).
Good luck in your venture Kobie, and may the droids be with you.
Kindest regards,
Karlie.

P.S. You might find it very useful to run around the galaxy in search of droid vendors and see what they are stocking. I have found the most popular droids to be R2, R3 and Surgical with the appropriate modules (R2/R3 for crafters, Surgical for doctors/medics).

Does the quality of the resources used make a difference in droids?

Currently, unless you're making Droid Storage Compartments for Architects to use in high-end crafting stations, quality and experimentation are virtually useless. However, it looks like when Publish 7 goes live, this may change.
Good luck!

Dear Kobie,
Take a look in the sticky section in this forum. You will see a good selection of reference information that will help you. Steel and Fiberplast is all you really need to get to master.
Kindest regards,
Karlie

Ahh.. but by taking that path, the easy path to glory, you miss all of the subtle nuances of the profession... things that you'll have to do anyway, later in life... so why not do it right the first time?
