Thread: TK thanks for fighting the good fight
Anyone looking over the boards for utility ideas for the past few months (not the combat bits unfortunately *sigh*) should recognise a LOT of the modules going into testing. And a few of them are stuff that ppl have said 'no way they're going to do that coz this and that profession will start screaming' but it looks like they have - and with the prerequisites that we suggested (profession checkers).

i guess i have my answer
The DE community has been, to quote a recent phrase, "running around with it's hair on fire" with regard to recent developments, and
the state of our profession. I must say that we have been very hard on the DEVs and on TK and a lot of this has come from a general
frustration built up over many months. Waking up this morning and reading over the patch notes, and over the responces
from the DEVs on our boards has given me new hope for the profession, and for the future of the game. I'd like to thank everyone
involved for what has clearly been a lot of hard work in putting together this upcoming publish. Let's hope it moves along smoothly
to live.
I realize that this isn't a "cure-all" for the DE profession, but it is a wonderful continuation of improvments. The one thing
that heartens me the most JustG is your comment about the Space Expansion and the future of DE with regard to that. It's a good day
to be a dedicated Droid Engineer.
My best to everyone,

Ooh, excellent, a DE post where both the Correspondent and Devs look, and it's only one page long.
TK, I have just one suggestion. I dont know how the barker droids will work, but I can currently clear myself of spam by adding the person to my /ignore list. I wont be able to do that with a droid. I would ask that the barking be done on a separate Chat channel, specifically for that purpose. That way, should I wish to see what people are spamming, I can simply open the chat window and take a look, but while I'm busy buffing people in front of the starportin Coronet, I will actually be able to talk to my customers.
Please? Pretty please?

Boy I sure hope you put an autopilot function on the R series droids while they are mounted in space craft for those of us playing this game that have the eye-hand coordination of a blind bat. Auto-gunner would help out too for the same reason.
