Tonight, as I normally do, I was making a few droids for my vendor. Now for the most part, I get 1 or 2 tells a week asking for training (My shop is in range of Coronet for a player search, and I always have my MDE tag up). But tonight, I was overwhelmed with tells. I went from 740 APS to maxed out in 2 and a half hours. I could not finish one droid without getting a tell asking for training.
So I think we can expect alot of new MDEs by the time publish 8 comes out, as most of my training points were coming in at 20 or 30 at a time, meaning they were all newbie DEs. It may be true, we are the new flavor of the week.

hehe oh well it happens. why complain it looks like we are getting wht we have been asking for.. other then being able to controlmore then one droid... you knwot he devs are doing osomethign right if there is a flood of new people to your profession and your not a combat class.

Yes, a droid Invasion. A Droid Engineer invasion to be more accurateand yet I still see "Masters" offering/advertising item storage beyond 10. If this has changed please correct me and I'll go out and buy a 50 item storage droid. This profession's knowledge base has suffered with the loss of so many elder DEs lately and here we have an influx of unsuspecting bright eyed trainees. Add to that the new complexities of the craft and I can see some rough spots in the road.
I'm sure people will work things out soon enough (DEs are smarter and far more literate than other professions), but for the short term we're in for a Grand Bohemian Cluster F**k.
