Droid Engineer Archive

I just got novice DE in the hopes of repairing my pre-nerf probot. It has wounds and needs vitality. I still can't figure out how to fix the probot. I have a droid repair tool, but it keeps telling me I have nothing to repair and I should unequip my weapons. Can someone please help?

You cannot repair your own droids, period.

If the developers' plans come to fruition, and DEs are granted the ability to call forth multiple droids, then we can do it.

In the meanwhile, ANYONE who has a droid with a 'Repair Module' in it can repair your droid. The repair module becomes available at (I think) 0/2/0/0 or maybe 0/3/0/0... And can be put into any astromech, probot, MSE, or advanced protocol droid. It will fail to function if installed in a power droid or any of the 'personality' droids.

Wow. That makes no sense to me at all. I guess I will have to buy a droid to repair my droid and give it to my friend. Sheesh... Oh well, thanks for your help Rho.

Hehehe.... LOTS of things about Droid Engineering make no sense. One must be tolerant, patient, and be of good humor. There are changes in the works, some very good, some less so, but we don't know how it will all work out.
