Can I get a droid chassis made and set it down in my house as a decoration like a BE pet deed?

Just be aware that the chassis you order will cost pretty much the same as a no-module version of the droid, in most cases.
Droid chassis are used for building the 'advanced' models of many of our droids, and the chassis themselves are essentially equivalent to building the 'basic' models.
The nice thing about the chassis is that you can get a nice wide range of colors (if purchasing from a master especially) that will never fade away. In addition, as it is just another droppable item, it can be named whatever you want, in whatever color you want, if your DE is so inclined.
