Thread: Down With Pets!!!
REALITY CHECK!!!
You have to feed and take care of pets constantly in the real world, plus sometimes real pets don't listen to you, and real pets do things wrong, real pets destroy things, some real pets require certification to use (hint, hint, money to upkeep pets), real pets aren't very smart, real pets don't have a great memory like a computer hard drive (hint hint, droids should have a massive memory for schematics and data), real pets get afraid, real pets run away, real pets fight with other animals when you don't want them to, real pets are not a low cost perfect fighting tool that are basically zero cost. Real pets would not put an intelligent, durable, reliable, droid out of business.
But in Star Wars they do!!
When you mention the star wars legacy people immediately remember luke and vader and lea and han andR2D2 and C3P0, they do not rememberthat every person had two pets that ran around killiing everythingfor them.
It's a total abomination what is going onwith DE's.Droids couldadd so much more texture and personality to this game, droids should be what pets are now (however requiring power and money forrepair and maintenance).
How about fun moments like this in the future...
"Master, I'm detecting a highconcentration of low grade ore in this region"
"Master,whatmaterials and schematics would you like to queue up that I can create as we travel?"
"Zeep Zeep Zoop,"-R2D2.1 has repaired5 damage on your stun baton.
"Would you likeme to translate this mission specific document for you" and of course, "You cannot read the transcription, it is in a rare form of surfer slang readableonly by droids with SanDiego Personality chip.
"Master, an entertainer in a cantinataught me this mildly effective dance that requires some extra maintenance power but heals your mind."
"I detect0 fencers on Rori, 2 on Tatoinne, and 1 on Coronet, would you like me to transmit aremote training request?"
"Zeep Zope Zank" R2D2.1 hasrefueled personalconveyance. "zeep zonk zarnk" R2D2.1 has mended your creature mounting saddle, "zarp zarp"R2D2.1 has received waypoint for Jabba's Palace frommasterstation at the cost of1satellite charge. "Beepborg" R2D2.1 has located a waypoint to the vendor sellinglaser rifles from themaster advertising station(It costs to advertise).
etc..
Overall Gist.. SHOW ME THE DROIDS!!!
Everyone should have/want to have a droid.

But in Star Wars
Real pets will sometimes get mad and try to eat you, even after years of service. 
i dont know if u know but DEs still get only nerfed and no working fix yet, and also CH are nerfed every day another thing is broken, now CH pets have no armor effekt dmg has been lowered to 15% CH cannot call multiple pets anymore CH xp has been lowered by 1000% and more depending on pet mob combination...
there will be no pets in SWG (no droids and no creatures) withhin 1 month.

Well given the fact that no new droids can be "tamed" it'll probably be quicker than that.
