Droids sucks, Devs ignore us, DE profession gets more bugs with every patch, this is nothing but pet wars etc. etc. Same old reasons. But in this case the straw that broke the camels back was not a DE issue. Read on if you care...

I wanted to play DE since I got the game. Once I realized just how broken our profession was, I started other professions too: armorsmith, weaponsmith, architect. DE was still my primary interest, but the other professions were more profitable and more rewarding. I had a little shop where I would sell scout blasters, probots,and PSGs.

Whatdepressed me most withthis recent patchis thatall armor is borked. This means I am wasting my time doing anything as an armorsmith atm. The ENTIRE armorsmith profession is currently broken. The real issue is that this was a known bug on the test center. Armor was broken on the test center... it was tested... and it failed the test. People bugged it and reported it, discussed it in the forums "hey devs, armor isn't working". Their response was to ignore them and make the bug live anyway. Why does the test center even exist? I can't believe the devs would ignore such a serious bug and implement it on the live servers. Whats in the next patch? How about all the guns crafted by a weaponsmith cease to work? Orhouses cease to be inhabitable? No problem, implement the changes anyway!(sic)If I developed code in this manner I would be fired.

I have lost what little faith I had left in the developers. I don't expect the DE profession to be really fixed any time soon. I do expect a couple of band-aid fixes and a lot more new bugs introduced with future patches. Droidekas by christmas maybe, and i'm sure they will nerf the hell out of them so they can't compete with anything a creature handler can summon. Anyways... I am not going to continue to pay 15 dollars a month, waiting fornew ways for the game will dissappoint us.

I totally understand where u are coming from. I enjoyed this game more when it was in official Beta. I canceled my account also. I'm paid up till the 27th so gonna pack my stuff up soon. I have no doubt that they will fixall the problems that we are having in our profession. I'm just not willing to keep paying tillthey do. I reactivated mydaoc acts and im intheirbeta of TOA. I'll try back in3 months and see where DE stand.
