Thread: Droid Permadeath
Hello, I have been skimming through threads and am looking for a clearcut answer to that question. I know droids had permadeath, then it was removed though the Probot got Nerf'd (still doesn't make sense to me, specially cuz I have a lvl15 pet that pretty much kicks a$$, not sure why the Probot would be different) Well anyway back to my point, in some of the latest posts mainly the Pretty informative Droids 101 posts (learned a lot about droids from them), have mentioned that Droids now have a change to permadie OR get wounds. Is this something that is New or is this Pre-Permadeath Removal postings.
If that is the case I would rather spend my 20/30k on lvl 15 Creatures with 3000k ham for $2000/each. They do the same damage and last longer in battle. Though that would suck Because I do like my Probot. I don't want to drop that many credits only to "Accidently" attack a nest of Baddies with My probot a protecting, and watch helplessly incompasitated as my Droid and 20k go up in smoke. Im all for making the investment, and if it gets banged up or what, pay a DE for replacement parts or to repair it. I wouldn't want to fork out another 20/30k for a new one.
Thanks,
Bostaka
Unless yesterday's big patch messed this up, too, your droids will not and can not perma-die.
However, they most certainly can/do take wounds, and they can also lose 'vitality' with incapacitation, much like an animal pet will.
Excellent. Thank you that was the answer I was hoping to hear.
