Haven't made any new droids with the Weapon/Droid/General crafting station... but if this is confirmed by others than we only need to make one crafting module.

Yeah, seems they confused 'Crafting tool' with 'Weapon, Droid and Generic Item Crafting tool' somewhere.

Not just that, but a standard Weapon, Droid, General Item Crafting Tool shows every single schematic I have, even the advanced ones, when I'm nowhere near a crafting station or a droid. So until this is fixed there's no purpose for crafting stations in droids at all. Just what droids needed, less demand, hehe. =)

I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing this.

The Weapon/Droid/General tools are now 'Craft Anything' tools.

It's actually kind of cool to be able to make whatever you want from one tool. They do need to fix this though or there will be no need for crafting stations much less any of my other crafting tools.

I wonder if this tool checks to see what other tools you have and just gives you 'instant access' to those features.

So we can craft anything, anywhere...

Next question: Can we experiment as well? Or will THAT, at least, still require a crafting station/droid?

Actually, never mind. It's not actually showing every schematic, but does seem to be showing a lot more than it did. I can't remember exactly what used to show up though so I could be wrong. And you still need to be near a crafting station or droid with one to experiment. =)

The WDG Crafting tool does show all the schematics that I have that you'd usually need a specialized crafting too for though, weird.

I thought of that too - that perhaps the WDG tool was just checking to see what other tools you had in your pack. To test I dropped my Structure Tools on the ground but all the schematics that usually require that tool still showed up when I fired up the WDG tool.

So until it is fixed I guess you only need a WDG tool to make everything. The other three specialized tools were still limited to their specific categories.

I think it is showing all the schematics available with the General Crafting Tool. Which would make sense since it is a Weapons/Droid/General Crafting Tool

They also changed the personal harvestor to giving general crafting experience. this might be another reason for those at least showing up in the WDG tool

I realize most of you will not be able to craft as many things as I can, but this is a definate bug. Mine was showing everything from Droids, Gurrecks, Fusion harvestors, Pet Stims, and everything else. All of whichI can assure youare supposed to require the specialized tool.

I suspect that in the coding, it's simply not checking the complexity level of the schematic, so is just showing everything.

No doubt they will fix it, but it's not a priority in any case, all of us who make these things, have the proper tool's and stations already.
