Thread: Med units on droids stop working if droid is on low power since patch

Hi all...not a droid engineer, just a customer so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong....prior to the recent "patch", I never needed to power up my surgical droid...it would always allow me to heal wounds outside of a med center / camp, and never complained about being out of power.

However, since the patch this behaviour seems to have changed...I tried to heal a wound on someone earlier on, and got the standard "can't heal wounds outside of a med center / camp" message. I stored / called my droid a few times, relogged, it still wouldn't work. I was able to use the med crafting station in it as normal though.

Then I had a brainwave, and asked the droid to group - I then got the *Low on Power* message. I recharged it, and the med unit stated working again, I could heal wounds outside once more. So it would seem that med units will not now work if the droid is low on power...unfortunately the droid won't bother telling you it's low on power unless you give it an order, so it's not immediately apparent that power is the problem.

I thought I'd post this issue on your forum fyi, I'm assuming if med units are now behaving like this, other types of units may do too.

Cheers

Actually this is not anything new. Allmodules that use power such as the med mod, the repair mod, the crafting station all cease to function when low on power. What has changed is that droids no longer recharge themselves when stored.

Which increases the need for batteries... not entirely bad. At least they're still slowly healing in the datapad.
