I am currently running a macro for my guild buff bot. NO WAY am i going to macro in Bivoli, to damn expensive. However, the driods are well worth it. Normal buffs hit for about 1800, with my 110 driod it hits for about 2000. However, when I am at work, asleep, my driod seems to run out of power every hour or so.
So, I ask to questions to those DE folks that are smarter then I am,
1) Please confirm how long a driod batter lasts??
2) What macro do I need to make to auto recharge my driod for big buffs?
Thank you in advance,
Gavvot

1) yes it is 1 hour, or 30 minute if you use auto-repair or entertainer module
2) there is no macro to recharge a droid, or there is one and nobody found it yet.

there is one way you could keep your droid recharged. Never tried it but it should work. Find yourself 2 power droids, one of them with a medical module. Have both bots out, and macro them to recharge each other. You would need two afk'ers for this to work.
Although I don't know how you could get the buffer to target the other power droid in order to recharge it.

This is precisely what the Devs do not want.

Ever noticed how there's so much ire on the boards sometimes about AFK entertainers? Well, you're not likely going to see any droid features or changes that will allow for other examples of this occurring.
So, setting up any kind of macro that allows droid use in a similar manner is not likely to occur (with good reason).
If you want to recharge a droid with a battery, a live player has to be there to do it. I don't see that changing ever.

So, it's been settled that droid batteries are here to stay? I've been away for a while, and didn't know that argument was concluded. I was kinda hoping for some sort of decay.

Until we hear officially otherwise, droid batteries are here to stay and the current droid decay system (or lack thereof) is not going to change.
I would say that it might be possible for us to have some changes that would include less need for batteries in some cases but there will not be any change that allows for yet more AFK/unattended droid use.
....I firmly believe that this much is certain. If you want to find a way to use droids while macro-AFK'ing anything, I suspect you'll never see it.

thanks for the reply.
Actually, i never meant to offend by answering the original poster. And I am not looking for ways to afk droids. I just like to solve puzzles, and his was interesting.

I didn't take offense.
I just figure it might be good to state this since there would be other people interested in knowing about this issue.
