How do you recharge a droid in the field when it tells you it is low on power without storing it and bringing it back out again?

Are there any better batteries than the one that comes with Eng 1? Even using high quality componants, my droid seems to eat through power very quickly ![]()

Occasionally you'll see people that boast their battery quality precentage (see a lot of 85%ers), but it doesn't mean squat.
All experimenting them up does is give you more charges on the battery. 4 uses is pretty typical.

Yes, in fact 4 is the max charges possible for the battery, and the experementation does nothing to make the charges last longer. Only thing I can say is to store your droid whenever you aren't using it to conserve energy.

Buy batteries per crates is your best option.
25 4 charge batteries = 100 hours of use, or 50 hours if you use an auto-repair module or an entertainer module.
EDIT : wow didn't saw it was a necro post

Are you sure 4 is the max? I swear mine are 5's, I'll have to check when I sign on tonight.

AFAIK the number of charge is max(1,effectiveness/20)
So, unless you're very very close to 100%, I dougt you have 5 charge batteries.
But theoricaly, it is possible. Also depending on how the rounding is done.

Here's where power droids can come in pretty handy....
Power droids can recharge other droids that are actively engaged in battle. They also take care of a droid's mind wounds at the same time.

best i found for batteries is copper and silicate ore. only draw back with power droids is the one droid out at time limit, but in group action its ok.
