"We're going to do something, sometime. We're not sure what, and it will take some time, but we don't know how long."
Bleh. It'll be the same non-committal crap we've been fed all along.

I'd like everyone to think about this too....
Creature Handlers get their huge 3 part super plan in the Development Forum.
We get our "shot in the ether" in the DE forum.
Priorities.
We dont want you to do ANY fixes or add ANY content to the DE until you have 100% perfect solution for everyone!
Yes, things might be bleak but we are getting attention. And first priority does not mean he will post something in the moring but he will dedicate his morning to gathering the data, talking to the developer, getting answers, getting permisison to post and THEN post.
Give them time. Yes DE are broke now, but consider where DE could go (and they can only go up at this point) and if that suits your goals then keep at it. Do you want to start as a Novice Artisian when they fix things or do you already want to be a DE or even Master DE when things get fixed.
You know, Ive been working on this all day folks. Im working with the correspondent and thats how its going to be.
When Sintrosi and I get things hammered out, there will be more stuff here.
And lets set expectations now. There is no magic bullet thats going to fix things overnight. Even as it stands, once we get our "State of the Profession" posted, we're going to poll it for a week to see how all the droid engineers feel about it. Once that document is done, then we move on to the next part.
You folks are droin engineers - - surely you can appreciate the process of engineering a solution and moving through it step by step, eh? 
TH: I think its understandable that our patience is wearing thin. That said, I'm willing to bet that most folks on this board are happy to go through a thoughtful process whereby the issues of the DE profession are addressed and our feedback is accepted and incorporated within reason into any fixes. Agreed everyone?
We DEs need/want some Dev lovin'. We're happy to go though the process with you all to make this game and the profession better. Keep us in the loop; after all, as another said, no one has more faith in SWG than us DEs.
Also, if you can just promise Droidekas for DEs up front, everything will be cool.

You misunderstand Thunderheart.
No one here is expecting a Magic Bullet. We know anything that changes is going to take time.
What we are expecting is treatment similiar to that of the other classes. I know that you just started, and you're getting nailed in here for things you had nothing to do with, but the truth is that DE's are very angry and upset in general. We've tried for a very long time to get any information on our proffession at all, our threads have been locked, and no one would talk to us. Meanwhile other proffessions got mile long lists, nearly overnight changes at their requests, and constant communication.
As Sinostri's "State of DE" shows, we've been one-upped by the CH's over and over again. So, no offense, but yesterdays attention to the CH's and pushing DE off yet another day, is kinda like kicking me when I'm down. I'm already frustrated as hell with a useless proffession and all I want to know is if it's worth keeping it or should I surrender and write it off as permenanately(sic) useless.
Clarification:
DE is not expecting overnight changes, I meant that statement in reference to the attention they received while we languished. I recognize nothing in DE can be fixed overnight, or even in a week, possibly not even in a month. I program, I understand that changing anything is not an easy process by a long shot.
