Heya guys,

My guild wants me to get DE so I am gonna try it out for a spell. I was curious what I need to grind on from E4 to get Novice DE.

I have previously been a master doc and I am currenlty a master tailor so I am pretty familiar with things but I can't seem to find anything that gives me over 30 or 40xp. What should I grind on to get Novice DE, and then whats best once I get my first set of schimatics?

Your help is apprechiated.

Specialized Crafting tools (clothing/armor, weapon/droid/generic, structure, etc.

I've also heard packs (the one's you get from artisan) and bone armor. Try packs

I grinded bone armor chest plates on practive mode till novice de seemed to give nice xp, though youll need lots of hide.

I had mined a lot of wood for some reason (still have some of the useless stuff from the first resource batch). This lead me to grinding lots of combat staffs and axes. They're both good, about 90 exp each. Bone armor chest plate is good with around 400-500 exp each, but requires bone and hide which I was always lacking at the time (long ago, when I had no combat skills).

holy crap that much XP for those puppies?? I got like 20k of hide but no bone. holy crap, does it take components? That's insane. Most i ever found as tailor was a 300xp item (cartridge belts) that didnt need components.

I recently got my novice DE level. I found that grinding out personal mineralextractorsworked best for me. These give 450 xp each time! It does take steel, ore and Aluminum but using a macro and 3 generic crafting stations I was able to grind it out in an evening.

well with rounded out as 500xp each 2 = 1k xp, my average macro has 6 tools witch is 3k xp in about 1minute.

so 28k required for novice devided by 3 = aprox 9 minutes if you have all the resources This will be a breeze. Man that's way easier then doc and tailor. That is of course with no tells and no lag.
