Why are Astro-Mech terminal interfaces just decoration? I even see 2 in the CoA2 picture on the launcher behind Leia...

I just don't understand why our droids can't use them. I can think of a million cool things that they could do to implement useful droid interfaces. Here's one that I posted in the smuggler forum:

"R2-D2 was a hacker, and I think it would be awesome if, to go along with the slicing tree, there was a droid module for use by smugglers so you could plug your droid up for even higher payouts and better weapon/armor slices."

Think of the base terminal issue as well for destroying a base... Doesn't it seem appropriate that one of the steps would use a droid plugging into an interface to hack the defenses? Once again, R2-D2 did it all the time. Cloud City, Endor Shield Generator, etc...
