Thread: For those that care: My comments will come later...
I don't believe in making rash decisions.
The last few days have seen the quickest posting to the DE boards (by the masses) that I've EVER seen.
I believe this is leading a lot of us (me included) to post, quite honestly, without really thinking through what we are saying.
That being said...
I realize that I'm a bit of a DE 'veteran' (read: old-timer) and that my opinion does (without being overly vain) carry a bit of weight. This is true of a LOT of us veterans.
I will, therefore, be witholding comments/suggestions/etc. on any particular plan or potential future until I've had a chance to carefully read all the of the best suggestions and understand those systems.
Only then, can I post constructive and useful comments.

Looking forward to your thoughts on Woody's post, man. Remember: nobody paints apples so don't be hasty, Master Doughbacca.
I paint oranges and all droids for free except super mice.
I would point out, though, that from this storm, good ideas are starting to flow.
Knee jerk reaction? Yes, I certainly had one when I learned of the dates when we were going to start even seeing changes, and when it was announced that "the majority of DE's wanted a DH profession".
Both TheWoody and Dashk have made good posts on possible approaches to the problem, and are worthy of constructive discussion. This does not mean that one should commit to a single idea right now - but keeping the discussion alive and constructive in the two "moving ahead" threads that are there right now is a good thing.
