Noticed a new one today.

I had an auto-repair combat droid following me around for a bit today.
When I started out, the examine window on the droid showed the Battery Power (started at 100%), the Auro-Repair power, the Master and it's /con details.

Since we were out and about for over an hour, the battery power dropped to below 75%, but instead of the display just sticking at 75%, it vanished from the examine window altogether. The datapad still lists the power as 75% though.

As a result, I no longer have a recharge option on my droids radial menu. [edit]I only have the Examine, Store and Auto-Repair options[/edit]

Also the auto-repair function has no effect. I can turn it on, and the animation plays, but the droid will not repair itself.

I cannot use repair tools on the droid like this, as I get a "Your target is not able to be repaired with these tools".

But the droid will follow command and can attack.

[edit]
When the droid is stored and called again it works again[/edit]

Was Auto-Repair working ok before the Battery display issue?

Yes, everything was working fine beforehand.

I'm waiting for the power to drop again to confirm.

Actually it hasn't happened again yet. The droid got down to *Low Power* and all the options are still there.

It might only be related to the first call, as this droid was out on it's first call when it happened? I'll test it out more later.

That isn't specifically droid related, but is a larger issue. Its a zone related issue that has been popping up more and more. It is possible that is a client sync issue as well.

Here is what to look for, when this beings to happen.

  • When in combat, neither you or you target, will take any damage.

  • Pets will stop responding to commands correctly.

  • The harvest option will not show up on a critter kill

  • Harvest macros will not function

  • You aren't able to call or store a droid or vehicle.

  • Optional radial menu options will not show up.

These are all related to the same issue, which seems to have made it in with Publish 17 and have become more predominate with Publish 18. This is part of the harvesting issue that was popping up on TC-Corby during Publish 18 testing.

I think the crafting station not working in a building is a little more specific. I believe the crafting station of a droid does not work in a building with a crafting station already in it. My shop has crafting stations, so I couldn't find my high level schematics and I thought the droid was broken. I went into a guild members house with no crafting stations and my alt's house with no stations and the droid crafting station worked, I went into my shop, an armor house and the cantina all with crafting stations and my droid did not recognize my crafting stations. This may not be for everyone, and it may be known, but before I could craft using my droid anywhere, now I have to make sure I'm outside or in a house with no private crafting station in it.

If you call a droid inside, nothing functions. It's just a dumb pet not that that's much of a change since the game first went live. YOu can't access data modules, item storage or use crafting. Droids must nw be called outsidefor then to do anything but follow you around.

I haven't been to the boards in awhile. Spending more and more time in Eve. Looking at this thread, nothing has changed since this game went live. Most of the same bugs are still there. The list only keeps getting longer. Even the few things that get "fixed" keep coming back showing they where never really fixed. Yesterday a player wanted a protocal droid. A BH and I think BE. Not only was there nothing usefull to offer with that droid but the cost hunting down all the stupid named resources and of building the thing was more then she had.

I've been having the same issue of loosing some radial menu options including rechage, and the loss of using on droid crafting stations while in my house. At this time I do not have any other crafting stations in my house only on the droid.

Issue I could not find in this summary:

Combat Modules: After inserting combat modules into clusters, the combat rating is listed, but when putting the cluster into the droid chassis the rating disappears. You only know if combat is cabaple after calling the droid. The same thing happens for individual modules inserted into chassis.

Makes it very difficult to assure a customer that a droid actually has a combat rating when it does not show.

That would be because this is the old thread.
