The display information on droids did cchange, mostly on combat droids. Other droids like medical or crafting should still display the applicable information.
Your best bet is just saying what you want in a droid, and we will tell you if it can be done.

Hi there
Since before cu, I've 2 droids all the time with me ( Adv Probot for combat and a R5 for healing )
Last time I wanted to check out what components are installed in my droids and I now don't get any info about it. In my Datapad I find the health, damage output and my commands but no info about the droids components.
Is that normal or bugged? Dunno maybe only DE can now see it or so
Why did I loook to it? Simple I wanted to make out of 2 droids only 1
Is that possible?
Any help apreciated

Many tx for the info Straker_Atrella
For my droid I'm still not sure if I should take an Adv. Probot or an Adv. R2.
I know that both can hold 5 modules and 2 armor modules and that the probot has a slightly higher dmg output and has no worries again terrain but the R2 has 1,3k Health more and i don't know how good he's on terrain nego.
Hopefully someone can help me with that
Both armor modules should be in place
And for the 5 other modules, I only want Auto-Repair, lvl 6 Medical and Combat.
Does it help to put in more than 1 Combat Module? If yes then it would be 3 Combats then

Actually fairly recently they revamped the droids a little bit. Any droid that can take a combat module does the same damage, has the same health, and for effective purposes has the same armor.
So the only real difference between say a Probot and an R3 is the Probot can hold 5 modules, and the R3 can hold 6. All those modules don't need to be combat modules, they can be storage, crafting, medical, or whatever.
Things have changed a lot for droids recently.

Oh ok that changes many lol
Then you can nearly install everything
Can an droid be then modified or do I have to destroy my 2 old onces and buy a new one?

Once made a droid can't be modified, but you can hold up to five droids in your datapad.

For crafting do the combat modules stack to add more damage or do they only need one combat module?
