Basicly I had a prenerf probot i had sence the eairly days of release. Well recently its health basic got choped down to a measly 100. Now I send in a complaint to a CSR and they basicly tell me that probots are caped at 108 health now which I dont think is right and sence I am in a fighting mood to prove a csr wrong again and sence I am no longer a DE I would like some help in finding out what people can get there probots health up to. Now my old probot use to be in the 3k ham range and has been sence I build him the night before probots got nerfed the first time back at the release era and I feel that sence he always been there I dont get why hes all of a sudden been nerfed over night with out any type of notice that I seen.

So I guess I am just asking for some basic research help if anyone would be up for it.

Edit: Just looks and looks like every droid I have ever owned (r2's that was built with the past several months plus my loadlifters and such) have all been set to 1/1 health. Now did I miss something here or did droidshealth get nerfed?

I take it you haven't been around much recently.

When the Combat Upgrade came along alot of things changed regarding combat although not sure if that was where the droids were altered. However, Publish 18 there was a Droid update which caused some changes. Heres the publish notes for droids:

Publish 17- May 26th 2005

Pets

  • Pet Armor should function correctly.
  • Pets will no longer have Action or Mind wounds
  • Some rare pets have traded hit points for bonus damage and armor
  • All group members can see pet health bars in a group.
  • Changed pet regen. Droids will no longer regen naturally, they must be repaired. Creature pets will now regen at their correctly balanced regeneration rates for their level.

Profession: Droid Engineer

  • Droids with Detonation Modules in them will now properly damage their targets again. Damage output of the Detonation Droid was adjusted to match the new balance of the Combat Upgrade. Detonation Droids now do Kinetic base damage plus a 10% bonus damage of Heat
  • Droid repair modules should repair the proper attributes
  • Crafting Droid Armor Module 5 and 6 should no longer require a Composite Armor Segment.
  • Fixed Droid Auto-Repair module to correctly heal droid Health

Publish 18 - June 15th 2005

Droid Engineer:

  • Droids crafted without either a combat module or armor module are level 1.
  • Droids with either combat or armor modules will now increase the level in 5 unit increments up to a maximum of 30.
  • Crafting a droid with combat modules will increase min damage, max damage, to-hit, and give the droid the ability to attack your current target. Combat modules will also add a bit of armor.
  • Crafting a droid with armor modules will increase its general protection armor value at a greater rate than combat modules, and will also increase the droid's defense value. Armor modules will not affect the droid's to-Hit or min and max damage attributes.
  • Players with older droid deeds and pcd's will be fixed retroactively.

Then in Publish 21 everything went wrong again due to the Creature Handler revamp. These were eventually fixed in Publish 22.

All these changes resulted in no droid having innate skills like the Probot for combat.

Any droid with 1 combat and 1 good armor will come out with Level 30 with 3k health if I recall right and after the first call the armor drops to 1217. These changes are in line with Bio Engineered pets of the same level.

Droids will tend to range from Level 1 with no health or amor for those with no combat nor armor. And based on what level of armor you put in would change the amount of health and armor it will receive.

That is due to a database conversion.

New droids, with armor, have Health that is based on the CL of the droid.

Not all of the database conversions were converted correctly, due to the way that droid crafting was changed after Publish 7 and the way that data is kept for Droids.

Only droids that are considered CL1 have Health that is 108 or lower.

Making SWG more Star Warsy. One droid at a time.

Yea well the odd thing is I used them before with no changes and all the droids I got basicly has the level 5 armor module in it (I think i even put 2 in a couple just cause I had so many floating around) All I know is why in gods name would anyone want a droid if its sitting at 1/1 health even when it has armor plateing in it. A fly lands on the thing and it would fall apart with the present state my droids has been left in.

I put alot of time and effort to build these droids for myself I used the best of everything and now what am I left it. Trash its just not right.
