I don't want to speculate on where the profession is going.

Might get my hopes up.

But I find that with Skill Enhancers that drop for armor they might be useful in either:

A) Allow them to be put into Probots and Future combat droids in the armor 5/6 plates like GSMs

maybe 2 or 3 .. as an option if you wanted to enhance the droids combat / defense.

B) Allow a special type of GSM that allows the droid to pass any installed bonus onto the owner ..

That way DE is as useful as an armorcrafter installing these SKill Enhancers
