well ever since the probot nerf there isnt really much of a use for probots anymore, people still use them but they are incredibly weak, its like sending a durni to do a razorcat's job. what we need is the ability to craft high quality droids but the devs are afraid of this, thats why they nerfed the probots before. so here is what i suggest. why not allow us to make droids that act as faction pets. the faction pets out there are nice and strong and very useful, but theres no way for any profession to gain from that. so how about allowing factioned droid engineers to create droids that are used by that faction, so if im a rebel droid engineer i should be able to craft some droids that the rebels would use in combat. this wouldnt be something for novice droid engineers but possibly the ones about half way up the tree, but not simply deny all of them to everyone but master. maybe make weaker ones but as you get to be a better droid engineer you get to create better droids. this would really help us droid engineers with our severe lack of sales to combat based professions. im guessing that the method of repair for the faction droids would require some high quality parts that take a decent ammount of skill to make, or better yet put in a consent system where the person with the broken droid calls it and gives the droid engineer concent to repair it, the droid engineer then gets out a list of specific tools and begins his fixing. maybe do it like the slicing system but using more tools and not just the same tool. like run a diagnostic, then once you found out whats broket start to replace the item and so forth. i believe that a system like this would be very good for thedroid engineers, because all medics and crafters can buy a droid once and it will never break...but if a combat person buys one they are gonna come back for more, or come back for repairs.

With faction points wecan buy droid schematics... are those "faction" droids anybetternormal droids? What are the difference?

And is it possible to trade those schematics so that a DE master can assemble it for me?

Is it worth using 8k faction points to buy a droid schematic instead of another Large Turret to keep my housefree of little mobs?

It is so not worth the faction points, its not even funny.

It is the same exact schematic, so giving it to a DE is a waste, cuz he already has it.

And for keeping your house free of bugs... We are still working on that with the Devs, currently your little droid will either 1) look cute standing there at your house while your away, but doing nothing or 2) follow you as you run away from your house.
