I for one would love to see player controlled SBD's, Droidekas, BD's and more. The extra profession could yield many benefits, such as mountable droids that attack. There are so many possibilites to work with a profession such as this, alos DE's would get way more attention and profits. I was under the impression that this was thought of before by the devs and put to vote by the DE, and at the time the DE turned it down thinking there were other options not knowing this was the only one. Hope the devs are someon see this.

The current plan is to put some form of droid commander profession in sometime post-JTLS, after the combat balance, and after the GCW revamp...
