Thread: Using the Droid Datapad?

I finally decided to start using the datapad storage space that seems to have come with the droid I've been using to store my armor as a place to store some of my lesser-used but still valuable waypoints. Opening up the droid datapad and just dragging my waypoints onto it has no effect, though. Am i missing something really obvious, or am I only allowed to store some other form of data in droids?

Manufacturing schematics only, sorry.

Droid data storage used to store waypoints...but them people started storing mission waypoints and taking more than two missions at a time.

Droid data storage also used to store pets...but then people started storing pets in them.

So the droid data storage was nerfed to schematics only.

I don't think droid data modules are useless at all. I keep manufacturing schematics in them, so they don't clutter up my datapad. All those resource vendor waypoints take up main datapad space, ya know.

To be fair, not many of my customers want them, but they usually do if they order a droid with all four crafting stations. I do put them in my medical R2s, and some of my doctor customers have said "Hey, that's useful!" when I tell them their droid can hold their schematics.

I've never been much of a crafter (some spice for smuggler), so i guess I wouldn't really know. I'll keep them in mind should I ever go down that road.

I went to go build an all-in-one crafting R3 for myself today (figured it was about time) and discovered my supply of Dioxis gas has gone missing. Damn resource eating vendor!!

These modules are useful for crafters who travel alot....my d-pad hasn't been below 90% capacity since October.
