You don't.
Pet Vitality packs used to work on droids but no longer do. If your combat droid is getting dangerously low on vitality, your best bet is to line up a new purchase.

you know when they stopped working? I know they were working after the droid publishes... but haven't checked since then.

I don't recall exactly. It's been awhile. I tried some of my pet vitality packs about a month ago or so and got some kind of 'You can only use these on creature pets' message or somesuch.

There is more to the story than it worked once/they fixed it. It's worked on and off several times - thought I do believe it's "off" now.
I find this a great natural decay to combat droids - they last long enough to be of value, yet not forever as they once did. I've never really tested it very far - what exactly happens when it hits 0/100?

I *believe* (though don't quote me on it) that the stats degrade down to something like 60% of their original. They are never permanently destroyed, but their use is more limited due to their lower stats. Now, I'm not sure if thats just HAM or if it includes damage/speed as well.

I've heard something similar as well. However, I've never worn one down that far myself to check. Maybe for fun we should /duel one down and find out.

Hmm it must have been fairly recent that this changed then. I know about 2 months ago it worked. I really wish we knew when stuff like this changed, it's a good change, but I don't want to misdirect customers.

See, that's what I'm saying. It working or not is more dynamic than we think. I'm talking like, a droid tamed before a certain point can have it's vitality boosted, but more recently created ones can't. I've heard varying things about this for quite some time now, but haven't thought much of it because I keep hoping it will be made irrelevant by the implementation of unique droid decay system to end our marraige to our creature pet counterparts.

Thanks for answering. I can tell you this much. My droid is on vitality 70 and has about 70% of his original stats.I have no problem getting a new one, if I could only find one. Well stocked droid vendors are far and few between. Feel free to send me in game e-mails with a wp to your store, I'm looking to buy a tank droid, current one is a LE repair droid, with 5,5k ham. And I'd really like it to have something else than the standard personality chip. I'm also looking for an energy robot (those box looking things on legs that do "gonk"-sounds).
Thanks again.
