Thread: Creature Harvest Module Result??

Okay, here's my problem:
I secured the three resources which someone had said they used to produce a high-rated creature harvest module (Irpoma gas, Erobase copper, and Takuv steel, all with 960+ OQ). My first try got me to 28% on the initial assembly, and ultimately produced a 19-rated module. That is fantastic, but as I was sitting there congratulating myself, I could have sworn I remembered someone claimed to have made a 20-rated module. So I tried again with the same resources, got only a 23% initial result, and produced a 17-rated module. From then on, despite many attempts, it would not produce anything but this same 17-rated module. I even logged out for a while and came back to try again, but still -- only a 17-rated module. What happened??? How can the same resources produce a fantastic result once, but never again? I bugged it in-game, just in the hopes it was a bug. Anyone have a clue on this?
If I had made a schematic of the 19-rated one, I could have been producing 114-116 rated creature harvest droids! But combining this one 19-rated one with five 17s, produced a 109-rated droid. Grrrrrrrrr!!

Lesson learned..always make a schema when you get an Uber result.
The same thing happened to me, but I made a schema and had some to show for it.
To my knowledge 19 is the highest anyone has gotten, I highly doubt that someone hit the magical 20, but I could be wrong. You can try, as I did to hit that 19 again, but it probably won't happen. I wasted a lot of resources trying it.

I was the guy who you're referring to, I think. Wow...I've never seen anything past the 17 result using those materials myself. Might be time to buy some of that assembly food...

Thanks for the replies guys, I still can't believe that something like this is designed to only happen once, then never again. If only I had known that. Anyway, I'm now making 106-rated creature harvest droids with what I do have.

I've tried a couple hundred assemblies this weekend, about 80 with Pyollian Cake...haven't been able to get up there yet.

Hi everyone i got done making modules and i got a l9 rated module on all my single crafting modules, then i put them into Combat clusters then into a R-3 and got a 113 harvest bonus. so i was wondering if there has been any higher harves bonus.

I and others on Intrepid have been making 117 harvest bonus droids using recent spawn of one of the JTL steels. Glad I harvested 700k units of it

I put together a 19-rated CH module about a year ago, and made a 1000-run schematic for them, which produced a 114-rated R3 droid. After the 165 droids I made from that run, I've never been able to better than 110.
Now that we have some JtL steels that break the CD barrier that previously existed, I'm hoping that the near future brings a steel that is better than the 700 combined OQ/CD that is best on Ahazi now. :/
