I looted a +12 droid experimentation clothing attatchment and was told it was only worth like a mil because droid engineers are already capped at master. This true?

Not true. However, it isn't worth as much as a medical or food experimentation because experimentation doesn't work with a lot of droid engineer items. And some of the items where experimentation does work you can max out as a master.

There are only a couple of items where the extra experimentation points would help.

For now, yea, its not worth all that much. the only items that have multiple experimentation lines are the survey droids, droid repair/reconstruction kits, and stimpack modules (maybe trap modules, can't remember off the top of my head). With 10 points (what any master DE has) you can always max out a single stat line.

on eclipse its still worth 800k-1 mil a point whereas med /weapon / armor is much higher if auction is bumped enough

It's not worthless, but as people already said, not worth what others may be. It does also help if you mess up an experiment though as well.

Don't let some guy fake you out! Although, yeah the worth of a DE tape is extremely lower than any other experimentation (except maybe clothing).

i would hold onto it.

whenever the non-combat revamp comes maybe us 12pointers will be useful where a soley master isn't

Who ever told you that might have been trying to get it from you cheap or just did not know what they were talking about. After all if we cap at Master then that +12 would be worthless since we could not go higher. That is actually a nice CA and you will get some credits for it, but to not expect it to be near what a WS, AS or Doctor CA would sell for. DE's are not really in this for the money.
