At the link above,it is mention possible to grind Adv Binary Loadlifters for 4000 crafting xp per unit created. This option was only briefly mentioned, and I wanted to provide some insight into that option.

NOTE: these numbers assume that you have mastered the Blueprint column of the DE profession. You will also need access to factories, a master artisan (and/or their schematic) and the amount of resources listed below.

Here is the Adv BLL method:

Each column requires 259,200 crafting xp. So all three columns will require 777,600 crafting xp.

The Adv Binary Loadlifters yield 4000 crafting xp per unit, so you will need to craft 195 BLL droidsto complete the grind.

Here in ALL resources needed to do that:

Metal (995 per) 194,025

Duralloy Steel (750 per) 146,250

Fiberplast (500 per) 97,500

Steel (278 per) 54,210

Duranium Steel (250 per) 48,750

Copper (126 per)24,570

Low Grade Ore (72 units) 14,040

Polymer (60 units) 11,700

Chemical (53 units) 10,335

Inert Gas (25 units)4,875

Siliclastic Ore (8 units) 1560

Here is a detailed schematicfor the Adv BLL..

http://www.swgcraft.com/showschem.php?id=blladchass&full=1

Here is the regular method:

Grinding Advanced Droid Frame Units will give you 462 XP and requires 150 steel and 70 Fiberplast.

You will need tocraft1684 Advanced Droid Frame Units to complete the profession.

Steel (150 units) 252,600

Fiberplast (70 units) 117,880

Conclusion:

If you are looking for the fastest way to grind DE,the advance BLLprobably isn't the way.
The Adv BLL is only an option for those who can afford it. Unless of course your a.) RICH and can buy all the resources neededor b.) have a vast stockpile of resources at you disposal.

Otherwise, you will need to invest time, money, and energy into pulling all these resources.

You should mention that the factory parts needed to build Adv. BLL chassis should be completed in advance of your grind. This alone will take several days and/or several factory runs to complete.Advance BLL chassis require6 identical advance motive systems. Mulitply that by your 195 chassis chassis calculation and you'll need two factory runs of motive systems (1200 ish) before you start. Advance motive systems also require control units. So you needat least onefactory run of those before you start.

Then there's your manipulator arms and droid brains of which you wil need 380 and 195 respectivly. There's two more factory runs.

The increased resources, preparation, costand facilities needed to grind DE do not justify the effort involved. (IMO of course) I'm not sure, but two DE's starting the same time, one grinding adv frames and the other waiting for components in factoriesand grindingadv BLLs, I think the former DE would finish first.

It's not your normal grind no, but it IS the fastest, if you have the assets.

If you are a DE who is trying to grind themselves up, then no this wont be the best.

However, let's say that a friend of mine wanted to grind DE. I could make him all the parts, sinceI have the factories and schematics. While they are cooking, he can do whatever he wants.

Then he just needs the final resources, and to put them all together. His actual speed for getting DE, spent grinding is much faster. Yet the prep time did take a while.

No it's not the most efficient grind, yet it is the fastest, in a round about way.

I'm doing this now. I used to do ADFs b/c there was no Duranium on Wanderhome but then after Xmas a spawn happened. I grind out DE in 10 minutes. It's the factory time that gets you. You can do 1000 Droid Brains, Manipulaotr Arms and Droid Sensor Packages and it wont take up that much room in a factory. It's the Advanced Droid Motivators that re the pain. They are used up fast in the grind and they require control units. So I'm constantly running control units and then ADMs. Once you get it started it's not that bad though and my clicking finger doesn't hurt anymore.

I usually fill the DE cap in the shop then bring enough resources and components to grind out DE twice in the village, then go back to the shop, rinse and repeat.
