Droid Engineer Archive

Currently Iam a DE {3/0/0/4}. I can make a cutomization tool that lets me color droids with quite a selection of colors (even tho some are not as usefull as others). So what is the benefit of the droid customization skill? As I see it, it only helps in painting frames, which I would use as a static display. I guess the experimentation skill will be usefull if experimentation is ever fixed.

No the customisation skill doesn't really effect anything. I don't think it effects ADV Chassis either.

As you move up that tree, your options for coloring ADV chassis get much wider.

It's most unfortunate that this color choice does not carry through to the final droid. It would be really nice for an engineer to be able to craft a group of color-coordinated droids. Let customization BE a temporary paint job, but give the droid a default color that we can select on creation.

I'd just like it if they fixed customization on pre-patch droids. I like my droid, and I want it to look cool, dammit! I don't want to have to sell it.
