This morning, as per my usual schedule, I logged in early to do my daily maintenance chores. As always, I had a slew of emails listing my vendor sales. I'm running a bit behind on my manufacturing right now, finding it hard to produce enough crates of my popular models, so I'm thinking (but resisting) a price increase.

Well, in the middle of this long list of 'Vendor Sale Complete' emails is a one-liner that simply asks "How can you charge so much for droids?". I kinda wish that I could attach a screenshot to an in-game email, because I think a picture of my inbox would answer the question adequately. As it was, I simply deleted the silly email, which came from someone with a short name.

A bit later, I was going over my vendors, and checked offers. I found two things there. One was a travel pack, priced at one credit, being returned to me by a customer per standard practice. The other one was an Arakyd probe droid... Which I thought odd. I thought it was PARTICULARLY odd when I noticed that this probe was being offered at 18,000 credits, or more than seven times what I charge for the same item. By someone with a short name! I think it might have been the same fellow, but I'm none too sure. So I refused the purchase and banned the guy from my shop.

Then I sat back and laughed for a while.

Ha! Good one.

Just wait until he sees what vehicles are going to cost!

I agree about the prices. I've seen quite a range on Flurry server. I keep my prices med- high and sell enough each week to more than cover costs of my harvs, buildings and resources. If I dropped my prices I would be overwhelmed and I already have a job that does that in RL. That being said, I find higher prices and fewer sales allows me to spend more time with my customers teaching them about droids and all. I think service is a key component to any merchant/crafting bus. I enjoy this part as much as just crafting the droids, but that is just me.
