Thread: Check me on this
Two problems I have with using droids, and I want to make sure I'm not missing anything:
1. There is no way to "heal" a droid. So if it's damaged, you have to wait ages for it to heal and be of use again.
2. If it gets incapp'd it will most likely be destroyed.
It's been a long time since I used a droid. I have a probot with level 4 armor in my datapad, but in my opinion he's not worth getting out to fight with. Has anything changed in DE land to make droids more useful? I'm assuming they still have 800 HAM and 40% resists. I'd much rather use a droid to tank with than a creature, but even a relatively low level greater sludge panther or grand wrix tanks much better than my droid, without all the down time...
1. Correct. There is talk of a healing tool, but Im not sure if it will make tomorrows patch.
2. No, they dont have permadeath anymore. They do however follow the same vitality rules as animal pets now:
75-100 = 100% stats
50-74 = 75% stats
25-49 = 50% stats
1-24 = 25% stats
Also probots havent changed since they nerfed them a few months ago.
