Gave up the ghost (again) last night. Apparently the stopgap work we did to get it working again failed. I'm thinking it's probably the power supply, but will have to take that apart to confirm it (or go dig up a spare from another dead computer).

In the meanwhile, I am without communication to and from the server (Ahazi). I'll definately be able to make the meeting in a week and a half, but as of this time the DEnet is offline. Soon as I get a chance to recover the hard drive I'll see about sending Doughbacca a list of everyone on the DEnet. We'll then use him as a temporary backup till I can get things going again.

Just wanted to give a head's up to all Ahazi DEs as to the current situation. Good luck mateys.. fraid you've gone a little deaf for a few days.

Sorry to hear about the smoking PC chassis...I've been there and done that a few times myself.

I hope to hear that you're back up and running soon. I actually look forward to the DEA spa...errr...emails.



Send me the list when you can and I'll jump in-game and try to get it up and running.

But yes... it appears the power company managed to pull a stealth nerf on half the computers in my house (as well as my speaker system and my electric tea kettle). Obviously they felt that I was exploiting the multiple-module-power-strip-cluster bug and obviously I needed to be brought back in line.
