Hi all I have a question for all you droid masters out there!

I have recently bought a probe droid level 10, now I can get it to follow etc but it wont attack! Everytime I tell it to attack I just see a question mark above its head and nothing happens.

Can non droid engineers use them?

Any help would be great!

Thanks

buy batteries

click droid, choose recharge

also make sure you are issuing the proper command and that it has been trained to attack to start with. you can view a list of commands by examining it, either while called or in datapad, i forget which one.

The question mark denotes it is reafy to learn the command. The next thing you say it will reply with a '!' meaning, ok I know what you are saying, that means attack.

Say I select Attack from program....

Droid '?'

me: "Get him"

Droid '!'

now when ever I say "Get him" the droid will attack the target I am looking at

All droids come with a standard set of programmed commands. Attack is "attack".

Based on seeing the question mark, it sounds like you're in Program mode, not actually issuing the command.

Numpty,

I'm guessing the DE that made it installed the little-known "Fraidy Cat" module. (just kidding, of course.)

The "?" means that you tried to program an attack command, not give one.

You have to program a command for it to use to attack but when you want it to attack, you should only have to give the command.

So, if you program "Probot Attack" as your command (using the "Program" menu), you need only say "Probot Attack" during combat and away it will go.

Enjoy!

Actually I suffer from this problem regularly. Your droid needs a quick reprogramming. Select the "attack" option in the program menu, then type in whatever command you use (good ones are 'attack' or just 'a')

I don't know why, but all my droids come off the line without the new pre-programming. I still have to train all the commands. What's more, I've had times where the droids have actually forgotten commands (my R2, 'Laserjet', can never remember the 'repair' command for some reason) and needed to first be charged, then reprogrammed.

The question mark without first pressing program denotes that it knows the command exists, but for some reason can't remember what to do. recharging/reprogramming usually corrects this issue. If it doesn't, then find your local droid engineer and get him to do it.

That should be about it matey. Good luck

Simple

Click program

select command

then just say the name you want followed by the command. sample: Shadow attack, shadow group

repreat this like 3-5 times with different commands and it should change its name. Although after your done youll have to reset the commands if you dont want to always be yelling shadow attack to send him into battle.
