Hey everyone, I have never visited this forum so i would like to say hello ....Anyway the reason I am here is i am a commando and just got a holocron and it told me to be a master Droid Engineer. So, i am now in a slight predicament. I don't know *anything* about crafting at all, so if any kind soul could perhaps make for me a step by step kind of guide (not some huge thing, just so what i know what to do) as to how to reach master Droid Engineer as quickly as possible. I read the guide and it said to go to swgcraft.com, but i can't find the area that has the macro's so if anyone knows them as well that would be great. I don't mean to be rude, its just i have no idea what i am doing here and would like someone to help me figure out the best way to "grind it out"

If you're looking for macros, I've seen a few posted on the artisan boards. Try there, maybe?

Rhurak,

Well you'll need to train as an Artisan and then work up the Eng tree until you have Tier IV. At that point you'll need to craft until you have enough crafting exp to train Novice Droid Eng. Once there, work on MSE droids and train Blueprint I and then Blueprint II first. Once you hit Blueprint II, you have your Power leveling schematic of Adv Droid Frame =).

Working up the ENG tree isn't too bad, but the grind for getting to novice DE and then up to Blueprint I and II can be a pain. Set up Medium or Heavy harvestors, as many as you can on the best Steel and Fiberplast points you can find. 80+ would be best and then wait for the resources to come in and level as you can =). You are looking at roughly 120k+ Steel, 110+ Fiberplast to hit master once you get to Novice DE.

Prior to hitting novice DE, take his advice and just work up making crafting tools or bone armor in practice mode. Tools are faster, take less resources and easier to make. Bone armor gives great crafting exp but takes a lot of resources so all in all it isn't worth it.

Crafting classes can take a while, so if you have the resources and the time, you can train once or twicea day, depending of course on whether you have the resources available to grind. But that is as a novice DE. For getting there, I've known people who have gotten the resources and hit Novice DE in two days. the Eng tree will go fast but then you have that long grind to Novice DE. Expect to take some time in doing the grinding =)
