I'm a droid owner, I can't feel like this is starwars without them... but this latest "plan" for droids seems to take away any hope I had.

interchangeable modules for droids was a bad idea to begin with and now they want to add more??? C'mon! Droids are supposed to be specialized! R2's store info and repair things, MSEs are messenger droids, they carry information, not crafting stations! Repair droids should repair things and other droids! Binary load lifters should carry things! Now thaw want to add combat modules to ordinary droids?!?! I'm gonna puke!

And explain to me why only droid engineers should be able to take out more than one droid? Why the hell would I buy a repair droid to fix my combat droid when I can't take them both out? I don't want an army of combat droids... I just want to be able to call my power droid to charge my probot!

And the biggie!!! MSE droids as rolling bombs! Aw geez!

Devs c'mon! don't you care about this game?

Fix the droids that don't work!

give the combat types more combat droids, don't turn R2s into mobile turrets!

AND LET ME TAKE OUT 2 DROIDS AT ONCE!!!

Well some of the "improvements" might vaguely resemble some of our suggestions, but only when taken as single words and not as sentences. We mentioned combat for droids, protocol droids, healing and things like that and so does the Plan(tm), but that's where the similarities to our suggestions end. I don't recall ever seeing a suggestion for a MSE Mouse Droid Bomb.

Let's just say that the information presented in the plan was... not precisely what I had hoped for, and leave it at that.

Well, i kinda liked the plan, though it still didn't do much for return business on most droids, nor did it touch limiting droids to certain module types/levels.

I have seen it and have talked to people about it in-game before. Many people like the idea because it will give the MSE droid a use, albeit a temporary one.

The first time I ever heard the idea, it was to allow grenades to be placed in MSE droids for delivery to a target.

Hiya Salporin. (Nabubu buddy :smileywink

As a DE I agree with you. Modules are too complicated and now they want to add even more.

We need specialized combat droids (among other things) that can be sold to other players.

These suggestions from the devs just makes the droids even more complex, hardly increases our sales and turns DE into a combat profession.

Good point... why CAN'T you call out two non-combat droids?

If would hope that the mouse bombs can be used by all but require a weaponsmith's components and a droid engineer to create, Either a stack of 10 identical thermal detonators or something.

True, but that's not a MSE with a grenade in it. That MSE will no doubt need components that only a Weapons Smith can make for it, raising the price tremedously, then still do almost nothing.

Dont you people get it. MSE bombs would be the laughing stock of our proffesion.
They would be a novelty item.

Person 1: Wow, this DE just sold me an exploding MSE.

Person 2: Cool lets try it out, here duel me.

Person 1: Ok.

BombBot attack.

*person 2 has been incapped*

Person 1: ROFLMAO Wow this proffesion is so broken that they have to blow up their bots to make them useful.

MonkeysRMe;

I'll bet it will be more like this...

Bombot attack.

*person 2 has been hit for 200 damage*

Person 1: That's it?!! I could have hit you with my FT, and put some real hurt on you, instead of using a windup toy! That was sure a nice 2000 creds I just wasted there.

Lol, how true.

And, BTW, who sell's MSE for 2k?
I give them away, but of course most stuff on TC is cheap anyway.
