Hello Folks,

I've found that when I can find a customer I can make some pretty decent money on some of the droids I'm able to make. My main problem isn't selling, since most of the people who ask about droidsend up buying something. The main problem I have is in actively finding customers. This is sorta where you need to exploit the social aspect of the game.Without the advertising and business skill tree, how do you let the world know about the droids you can make?

The methods I have used mostly include getting my most complex droid to follow me around town, hoping that people might see and ask about it (my skills are only 1/2/1/3). Sometimes I will shout things, but that tends to get little attention. It would be nice to sell a droid every other day, so do some of you have some tips?

Droids can patrol around town while you are not online.

I have a bright red Binary Load Lifter named 'Email-Rho-For-Droids'. I patrol him around Coronet starport, the crafting stations, and the bank. This generates a fair amount of interest. You could do the same with a probot, for instance.

I used to do shouts in towns like Bestine and AH after getting so much business doing that I stopped because I got so many referrals. Now I dont even advertise with shouts, if Im waiting for a shuttle or what not I make sure I have a driod out. I have enough of a customer base that advertising is no longer an issue and I pick up a lot of new clients on adventure plantes as well. Sometimes its just having the title over your head that gets you the questions that lead to a sale.
