Ok, I want to start a simple thread to demonstrate to the Devs one thing: DEs want droidekas. So here goes, reply to this postif you want to be able to build and use droidika droids!

This thread is not for debatingwho should be able to use them, what their stats should be, whether they get shields or not, or anything else. Those details we can hash out later for game balance, fun, etc. Lets build support and momentum for Droidekas!

DEs and non-DEs let me here you now: As a GENERAL matter, who wants to be able to build and use droidika droids?

Me! I want Droideka droids! Woot!

I think its not something that you can sum up quite that easily. I'd have to say I would like to be able to make droideka's but their are countless conditions I'd say that on. I won't go into them like you asked but I will leave everyone with a reminder, even the best idea can come out horribly wrong in so many different ways.

Most players regardless of class express intrest in Droideka

**edit**! The droidekas were invented on Geonisis. You can't know a schematic that isn't common knowledge without a mission to learn it! Besides, the only known droids from that line that are still active are on Lok. Who would run there and risk getting obliterated by pirates to pick up a dangerous and unpredictable droid for reverse-engineering?

I don't want droidekas. I want more functional droids, let combat for other professions, we are *crafters*

Yes, we may want Droidekas, but FIRST GIVE US THESE:

Medic droids that actually heal you
Repair droids that acutally work
Power droids that do more (ie power harvestors)
More usefull BLLs

A combat droid would just be an example of a highly-useful droid... I want useful droids, not necessarily just a big combat droid. Adding a big pet isn't going to save the class, they need to actually have a use. As stated above, many of us don't really want to be a CH class, although I would like something to defend me to allow participation in some of the events. I can't do this month's "Cries of Alderran 2" event because of the combat requirements.

This game is so corrupted and non-continuity so no one cares.

For goodness sake, they're even planning on MSE-bombs.
MSE's... you know, imperial messenger droids that were seen on the deathstar in the movies.
